How did you get your start in Disc Golfing?
I have been disc golfing for at least a decade now but I didn’t start any sort of competitive tournament play until 2016 (and even then I only played two tournaments that year) so I didn’t start taking the sport seriously until 2019/2020.
What is your favorite and least favorite thing about disc golf?
My favorite thing about disc golf is the competitive nature of the game. Competing has always been in my blood and I love the opportunities that I get with this sport.
I really have nothing negative to say about the sport and that’s just me being honest !!
What are your preferred disc’s that you use during a match?
I have a handful of go to’s !!
Champion Destroyer
Big Jerm tour series thunderbird
Star Leopard
Discraft 5x Paul Mcbeth Z Zone
Is there a person who has inspired you to continue your career?
It may sound cliche but I feel like I have inspired myself to continue playing. My dad was one of the first people that brought me out to play years ago and is also one of my biggest supporters but I’ve come to love this game so much and I push myself each time I play to improve.
Can you tell us about how your ambassadorship came to be that you’ve recently announced?
DiscDry had recently followed my Instagram account and out of curiosity I looked at the content of their page and became very interested in the product so I went to their website and found their contact information to just express my interest in the product and ask if they had any interest in having me promote the product this upcoming season!!
Is there a piece of advice that you could give to someone who is looking to get better at disc golfing?
I would say be open to criticism. It had taken me quite some time just to get a form that works great for my style of play and in order to get better and to improve, be open to taking tips and learning from other players! Another huge tip is to watch the pros. After all, they are professionals for a good reason!!
What 3 songs do you play when you’re playing a game of disc golf for leisure?
One song in particular that I always find myself coming back to when I’m on the course is “They Move on Tracks of Never-Ending Light” by This Will Destroy You.
I recently discovered an underground artist by the name of JayRoddy that I’ve been messing with for some time now as well.
I also have been getting into a lot of Latin Trap/Hip Hop artists like Bad Bunny, Jhay Cortez, Myke Towers, and Anuel AA!
