How did you get a start in music?
We were all good friends from around the music scene that decided to try jamming together. It was truly love at first practice!
In your words can you describe your music?
We are high energy, nostalgia-driven metalcore that is heavily influenced by European melodic death metal.
Describe your creative process for writing songs?
First... We assemble Triangle Formation, then do our secret handshake that consists of high fives up top but never down low. After that it really is just a giant blur until we are all covered in petroleum jelly and a new tune is born!
What's your mission as an artist? (What do you want people to take away from listening to your music)
We just hope that everyone enjoys our music as much as we enjoy writing it. We aim for tunes that get stuck in our heads. Embrace the metal and have fun, because life can be way too serious the rest of the time!
Is there an artist that inspires you?
Killswitch Engage, Dillinger Escape Plan, August Burns Red, Soilwork, Like Moths To Flames, Avenged Sevenfold... There's too many to count!
What advice do you wish someone told you in the beginning?
Don't force the creative process. When you try to polish a turd, all you get is a stinky, soupy mess!
What are your 3 favorite songs to relax to?
This is a tough one, but probably "Get To The Choppa" by Austrian Death Machine, "Tutti Frutti" by Little Richard, & "What Does The Fox Say?" by Ylvis.
