"The backstory of the song is a vengeful ghost haunting their ex because they always said they could never go on without each other if something were to happen to the other... When the partner died..their lover didn't follow through with those promises, but instead immediately found someone new.
Within their lyrics you can hear the pain of what they would be going through. The song is in the perspective of the one that passed away and what their feelings would be thinking that they were 'betrayed.'

Demi did a fantastic job at blending the lyrics with the music in a complex and haunting beat. With the heavy electronic feel this song is a trip from beginning to end.
